We welcome the crew from Super Art Fight who are going to be attending this year’s Webcomics Con as guests and put on a show for you all! A Super Art Fight is a spectacle that isn’t to be missed!

Volunteers!

We’re still looking for more volunteers!

Volunteers can sign up for a minimum of two hours.  At two hours a volunteer will receive a free t-shirt, at five or more hours a volunteer receives free entrance to the convention.

We need volunteers in the following departments:

1. Gophers – Helping set up panel rooms, making sure events and panels go
smoothly, helping run supplies when needed

2. Con Safety – Helping security heads, managing entrance ways and hall
ways, keeping public out of off-limit areas, assisting any convention goer
in need, making sure the code of conduct is being followed

3. Info Desk – Manning the information desk, helping direct people to the
right rooms, helping people interpret the schedule, help spread word of
scheduling changes, answer any general questions

Volunteers must be age 16 or older.  Volunteers under the age of 18 need signed permission from a parent or guardian.

This is a notice to all those interested in participating in Webcomics Con Programming!

We are taking submissions for panel ideas, workshops, etc for the convention! All those interested should provide us these basic details of your programming:

1. How many people will be involved and their names
2. Subject of your programming
3. Description
4. Estimated length
5. Previous conventions (if you’ve done this at any other convention before we want to know!)

All those interested should e-mail us at Lauren(at)webcomicscon.com! Cut-off date for inclusion in programming is August 29th!

Please note that if you are running a panel you should also be a registered attendee or exhibitor at Webcomics Con!
